It snowed today.

Just walking home from my 5 hour class.

Used an Italian keyboard today and died! I couldn't find the @ sign and when I did, I didn't know how to operate it :(

Creampuff at a 'bar' nearby

View from right outside my kitchen window. The strings there are our drying rack... we probably won't be utilizing that.

My beautiful roommate Molly. She's amazing! (We were supposed to have another roommate, Millie, but she dropped out last minute so it's just the two of us!)

Nicciola Piedmonte (Hazelnut) gelato

Really love those holes in the wall as my shelves :)
Photobooth right around the corner. Friends + a random guy who no one knows.

Roaming by myself on a gorgeous night, I find the bridge leading to the other side of Florence along with this stunning view. I stood there for several minutes just admiring it in awe.
I think I could have stayed there forever.

Shops of jewelry along the bridge.

The time I spent here already was so priceless. Florence is definitely a city with more daytime activities, but their nightlife is very existent. I've met so many people who I don't remember the names of, and had a blast every night, even if they were the nights I stayed in with my roommate. (:

Duomo!

Just another adorable little shop display

The first time I walked down one of the streets in Florence, I fell in love.

I love being five minutes away from the center of the city, and everything else.

What better way to end my day than a croissant filled with nutella? (Dog placemat!)

Off to Florence!

I'm ready! :)
Looking out of the plane in London; it really is as foggy as they say it is.
I made it! My adorable apartment:
Living room/ kitchen. We found placemats with a kitten and puppies on it. It's like they knew I was coming :')
My room! Notice the missing mattress in the top picture. How do you miss that during housing inspections??

After 12 hours on a flight and experiencing the disappearance of my night as different timezones cause my night time to become morning in a minute, you would think jet lag would get to me, but sleep deprivation got nothin on me.

On our first night, my roommate and I went to a cute restaurant called Cibreo and were completely freaked out when we went to the wrong one and the prices were nearly 50 euros per person, but the owners were incredibly friendly and understanding of our confused American ways and led us to their connecting informal restaurant right next door where they treated us like family. We were their last customers and they gave us a tiny slice of an amazing chocolate fudge cake for free. The perfect way to end our first night in Italy. Buona sera!
